Ingredients

  • 2oz Mezcal
  • 0.5oz Creme Violette
  • 0.5oz Lime Juice
  • 0.25oz Simple Syrup
  • Lime Twist

Method

  1. Shake all liquid ingredients in a shaker with ice
  2. Double strain into a chilled Coupe glass
  3. Garnish with a lime twist

Garnish
Peel a strip of lime peel and cut into a long rectangular shape, then twist over the cocktail and rest it on the rim of the glass.

Notes
Complex, earthy, smoked agave notes shine through from the Mezcal, with a nice dry chalky ‘Last Word’ vibe. The floral notes of the Creme Violette surprisingly mixes flawlessly with the Mezcal.
